All found at the intersection of Oxford Avenue, Algon Avenue, and Devereaux. One utility pole on the traffic island in the center had SIX of the yellow 215-740-6116 and two of the 267-601-4040 signs on them. Eight bandit signs on one pole? Sounds like overkill. Even better yet, there are up to four signs stapled on top of each other, so there were almost 12 of these signs on one pole. Each one is held up with a constellation of staples, but that doesn't stop me from tearing them down. I've seen these idiots put up to eight nails in the CoroPlas signs - six around the perimeter of the sign and two in the center for good measure, but that won't stop me.

Washington Ave. from just West of 13th to 11th. I didn't even get them all Saturday.

This jackass just doesn't get it! I guess he's got lots of money for CoroPlas and cheap labor. I recall catching one of his minions in the act putting up a sign on the 7900 block of Oxford Avenue. He was a middle-aged Hispanic man with long wavy salt and pepper hair and a goatee driving a red Ford F-150 truck, possibly a 2003 model.

For the third time this month, I've pulled his crappy signs down from the same locations: two from near the the Rite Aid at 6401 Oxford Avenue at the NE corner of Levick and Oxford and near the dry cleaners just south of Passmore and Oxford. I previously pulled them down on November 4th and November 12th. I can't recall how many times prior to those dates. There are going to be so many nails in those utility poles, they'll break at that point where those signs were located.

If anybody should be furious with these bandit sign posters, it should be Peco and/or other utilities. Aren't these poles their property? If somebody was nailing illegal signs to my property, I'd be angry.

Got three more removed from the intersection of Foulkrod and Whitaker today. This idiot constantly posts his trashy signs in the same locations no matter how many times they're torn down. Maybe BanditProject can have markers that show how many times a certain sign has been posted and reposted at the same location? I've removed over 174 of these signs since mid-July worth about $52,200.00 in fines.

Bustleton AGAIN Blighted By Bandits

I took my wife out to dinner last night for Valentine's Day only to discover Bustleton Avenue was AGAIN blighted by bandit signs. I did a huge cleanup of this stretch only a month ago. I was so angry, I couldn't sleep, so I got up early this morning and ripped every single bandit sign down. Once again, the king of crap signs 267-229-1970 is today's winner with only 31 signs this time; down ten since last time! This time I DID follow this jerk's trail to Bucks County and discovered a peculiar thing that would be of interest to all of us: the bandit signs stopped at County Line Road. No bandit signs were on any poles north of the Bucks County / Philadelphia border. These bandit sign knuckleheads probably know that Bucks County officials don't play. Wassup wit' Philly?

Toggling owner identified.   Leonard Trexler was convicted in Federal Court for running an interstate chop shop in Pennsylvania in 2003.

I have at least 5 addresses connected with this person's name in PA, 2 of them in Philadelphia alone, plus the Metro Ad clearly tying his name to the bandit sign.

I have sent out a communique to City Council, the Mayor's office, the District Attorney offices for Philadelphia and media contacts to let them know about this.

I provided the information you found out about Mr. Trexler to a liason with State Senator Shirley Kitchen's office. This person has been combatting bandit signs before either of us even thought about it. This person intends to make an example of Mr. Trexler.
