I've taken down at least 80 of them since the middle of July in Fox Chase, Lawndale, Lawncrest, Rhawnhurst, and points elsewhere. I've seen this particular sign as far away as Lahaska.

 Our first lead... there is a name published in the Metro where this tower ran a legitimate ad in the back of the August 22nd 2011 edition:

It's those trashy 267-229-1970 Junk Cars signs again! The newest signs have a new look: Day-Glo green against white background. I spotted these signs at the following locations:

NW corner of Rhawn and Castor.
SW corner of Bingham and Unruh.
NE corner of Whittaker and Godfrey.
NE corner of Foulkrod and Whittaker
SW corner of Foulkrod and Whittaker.
NW corner of Foulkrod and Whittaker.

Again at the Hess gas station at 6399-6399 Oxford Avenue near the SE corner of Levick and Oxford Avenue. I just pulled it down prior on Friday, November 4th.

Again at the Rite Aid at 6401 Oxford Avenue near the NE corner of Oxford and Levick. I just pulled it down prior on Friday, November 4th.

Again, just south of the SE corner of Passmore and Oxford Avenue near the dry cleaners. I just pulled it down prior on Friday, November 4th.

I guess this jackass has a lot of time and money to waste on signs only to have us pull them down less than 24 hours after they go up! I hope he has a lot more money for the massive fines he faces! This scumbag definitely should do jail time as well.

The sign really is everywhere. It's also amazing that this guy isn't identified. I've called once or twice to say hello and ask how he's doing and it's always a real live person and not a message machine.

Pulled down 20 more of these signs along Tyson Avenue from Pennway Street to Hawthorne Street.
That makes 129 for a fine worth up to $38,700. That's just $6,000 for today and a partial stretch of Tyson Avenue. Gee, Mr. Trexler, you're not going to have much left to buy any junk cars! Boo-hoo!
